Why a Wardrobe Station?
I came up with the idea of creating a dressing station for the girls after being totally fed up with the above mentioned scenarios and I really love how it turned out! I knew I wanted them each to have their own space with their own set of clothes and I wanted it to be a space that they can navigate independently.
How to Put the Wardrobe Station Together
1.I bought two Trofast Storage Units from Ikea and screwed them together. I then anchored those units to the wall to avoid a tipping hazard.
2. On one side I used three Ikea Trofast Storage boxes and on the other I used a small tension rod.
3. To make it simple I narrowed down their wardrobes to three items (Tops, Bottoms and Dresses) and used printables to label the bins.
4. To finish off your space add hamper for dirty clothes and a mirror so they can check out their outfit choices to really make this space fully functional for them!
